Thomas Lee Trimble 1944-2020

Thomas Lee Trimble, 75, of Ashland, Ky died Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his home in Ashland. He was born August 30, 1944 in Logan W.V. a son of the late Charles Lee Trimble and Helen Wava Hardin. He worked at Owens-Illinios Glass Plant of Huntington, W.V. for 27 years. He enjoyed working on cars, and loved spending time with his daughters, granddaughter, and three great-granddaughters. Thomas is preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife Mary K. Trimble who passed in 2014, a sister Jean Trimble Roberts, and his stepfather J.D. Hardin. He is survived by three daughters Paula Trimble Freeman (John Gilbert), Tracy Adkins, and Melanie Slate. Two granddaughters Katherine Leigh Niece (Phillip) and Brandi Gilbert. Three great-granddaughters, Aleigha, Emilee and, Rylee Niece. Two sisters Betty Burgess (Tom) and Anna McKensie (Russel). Two special people in his life Debbie Wheeler and Judy Marshall. A brother-in-law and nephews Herbie Roberts and sons J.B., William, and Ben Roberts. A special pet Ginger, and a special thanks to a niece Jannie May and friend Tommasina Ledingham (John). Services for Thomas will be conducted Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. by Chaplain Jimm Smedley at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lazear Funeral Home to help differ funeral costs at 1632 Central Ave, Ashland, Ky 41101. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
