Shirley Ann Cantrell, 82, of Russell, Ky died Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Shirley was born January 26, 1938 in Kenova, West Virginia a daughter of the late George Washington and Gertrude Tackett Seagraves. Shirley was a homemaker in her own home. Shirley is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Darrell Cantrell who passed in 2013, and two sisters Francis Gene Seagraves and Velma Fern Seagraves. She is survived by three sons Darrell Anthony (Susan) Cantrell of Georgetown, Ky, Michael David (Rose) Cantrell of Greenup Co, Ky, and John Edward (Kathleen) Cantrell of New York City, New York, a granddaughter and honorary daughter Regina Ann Anderson of Ironton, Oh, six other grandchildren George Anthony (Gina) Cantrell of Evans, Ga., Jesse (Julianna) Cantrell of Richmond, Ky, Travis Kane (Amanda) Cantrell of Bardstown, Ky, Maryn Cantrell, Sairse Cantrell, and Sheila M (Jay) Sherder, 11 great-grandchildren Gavin, Dylan, Jayce, Jerred, Logan, Elijah, Lily, Chloe, Aiden, William Gorman, and Trevor Gorman, two brothers George Thomas (Barbara) Seagraves of Lakeland, Fl and David Oscar Seagraves of Ashland, Ky, two sisters Virginia Lake of Russell, Ky and Maurice (Earl) Seagraves of Columbus, Oh, two brother-in-laws William Thomas (June) Cantrell of Ashland, Ky and Joseph Hamilton Cantrell of Ashland, Ky, and a sister-in-law Marge Cantrell of Ashland, Ky. Funeral services for Shirley will be conducted Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Lazear Funeral Home by Pastor James Stamper with burial to follow in North East Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 7 to 9 P.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland, Ky.
