Sharon Kay Brown, 73, of Ashland, Ky passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, Ohio. She was born February 3, 1953, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Willard F. and Emma Stephenson Harvey. Sharon was a Secretary for American Electric Power. She was a member of Beech Street Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband William Paul Brown and a special cousin Susan Bridges of Ironton, Ohio. A brief service will be conducted Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Dan Pancake with no visitation prior to the service. A private burial to take place at a later date. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Brown.
