Rosetta Ison, 84, of Ashland, Ky died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Rosetta was born June 27, 1938 in Leon, Ky a daughter of the late James Walter and Sydney Jane Huff Ison. She was a homemaker in her own home and she was a member of the Shephard Chapel Ministries. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by two brothers Walter Ray Ison and Baby Ison and a Great-Grandchild Mya Gwen Crawford. She is survived by a son, Robert McMeans of Ashland, Ky, two daughters Zetta Watkins of South Point, Ohio and Brenda Taylor of Ashland, Ky, three grandchildren Michael Scott Sperry, Allie Rae Jobe, and Brandi Lee Sperry, and a special cousin Sue. Services for Rosetta will be conducted Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel by Minister Roger Wireman. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before service time Sunday. A private committal will be conducted at a later date. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Ison.

Rosetta was my first cousin . Our mothers were sisters. Will be praying for the family .
