Rosemary Evans Stinson 1944-2022

Rosemary Evans Stinson of Ashland, Ky born February 8, 1944 in Carter Co., Ky, age 78 died at home from complications of degenerative spinal disease. Daughter of the late Willard and Edna Evans from Carter Co., Ky. She attended Ashland public schools, Berea College, and she graduated from the University of South Florida. She had one son Mark Evans Stinson of Flatwoods, Ky. She traveled to England, Hawaii, Caribbean, and other places of interest. Her hobbies were sewing, painting, and dancing. She will miss her four grandchildren Matthew, April, Evan, and Charity Stinson. She was predeceased by her sister Jo Ann Irvine and her mother and father Edna and Willard Evans. In lieu of flowers Rosemary asks for donations to the Shelter of Hope, 2944 Winchester Ave, Ashland, Ky, 41101. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, Ky, by Pastor William Pollock, Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Stinson.
