Robert Ray Castle, 74, of Grayson, Ky died Friday, April 26, 2024 at his home. He was born January 21, 1950 in Ashland, Ky a son of the late Ivan Ishmael and Arburtus Tackett Castle. He was a member of Moore St. Tabernacle and was a Street Department worker for the City of Ashland for several years. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by a brother Freddie Thomas Castle and a granddaughter Reese Ann Castle. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Litteral Castle, two sons David Wyley (Alicia) Castle of Versailles, Ky and Michael Keith (Carla) Castle of Carter County, Ky, and four grandchildren Kristin Sophia Castle, Benjamin David Castle, Matthew Wade Adkins, and Justin Henry Adkins. Services for Robert will be conducted Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 1 pm at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Dan Pancake with burial to follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before service time Wednesday. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Castle.
