Phyllis Jane (Robinson) McIntyre, 88, passed away, peacefully on December 17, 2023, after living a long and fruitful life. Phyllis was a kind and generous soul. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, participating in the choir; as well as a volunteer at King's Daughters Medical Center. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, could often be found in the comfort of a good book. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Dorothy Robinson, her sister Helen (Walter) Stephens, as well as her loving husband of 47 years; Charles (Herb) McIntyre Jr. She is survived by children, Charles (Lynne) McIntyre III, John McIntyre, and Leigh Ann (Patrick) Kouns; Grandchildren, Samantha (Matthew) Delph, JD (Meghan) McIntyre, Rachel (Michael) Day, Ian (Jordan) McIntyre, and Liza (Brandon) Chruszch; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jake, Gabe, Ben, Amelia, and Chase; as well as many nieces and nephews - all of whom she loved dearly. Services will be held at the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland, Ky with Visitation on December 27th from 6 to 8 pm and Funeral to follow on December 28th at 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
