Marvin Sean Hogsten, 51, of Ashland, Ky died Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Ashland. He was born July 23, 1972 in Ashland, Ky a son of Charles and Vicki Newsome Hogsten. He owned Scoutline Auto Parts and was a self-employed mechanic, he loved racing, cars, and anything fast. Sean is preceded in death in addition to his father by his paternal grandparents Marvin and Francis Hogsten. He is survived by his mother, three sons Kendrick (Lesley) Hogsten, Ryland Hogsten, and Dakota Gussler, a sister Robin Cheri (Ruben) Hogsten, his maternal grandparents John Paul and Mary Fay Newsome, his love Cheri Lunsford, his faithful companion Tucker, and a host of family and friends. A visitation for Sean will be conducted Friday, August 11, 2023 from 12 noon to 12:45 pm at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland with a graveside to follow in Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by Rev. Arnold Adams. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Hogsten.

This is very hard Ms. Vicki life. I know from experience it hard to give up love one. I lost my mom and brother 11 days apart. A love one will step on feet as little babies but big babies they step on heart.
