Kathleen Pugh, 60, of Ashland, Ky died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice in Huntington, WV. She was born August 1, 1963 in Hazard, Ky a daughter to the late Howard and Faye McDaniel Sumner. She was a homemaker in her own home. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Greg Pugh, Sr. She is survived by a son Greg (Darrian) Pugh, Jr. of Ashland, Ky, two daughters Karen (Jerry) Ambergey of Hazard, Ky, and Sarah Pugh of Ashland, Ky, eight grandchildren Kylie, Rhyland, Chloe, Aiden, Austin, Kerry, Kierstin, and Katlyn, two great-grandchildren Kaine and Maverick, a brother Harold Dean Sumner of Hazard, Ky, and two sisters Darlen Higgins and Cora Combs both of Hazard, Ky. Services for Kathleen will be conducted Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland at 2 pm with Rev. Roger Wireman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before service time Friday. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Pugh.
