Julia Blair Richardson, 82, of Ashland, Ky died Monday, July 25, 2022 at Woodland Oaks. Julia was born August 1, 1939 in Ashland, Ky a daughter of the late Chester “Ted” and Ethel Galliher Blair. Julia was the office manager at Foodland and was a devout Christian. She loved God, her family and her friends. Two bible verses played a huge role in Julia’s life. Her favorite was Philippians Chapter 4 Verse 13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!” the second verse was Psalms Chapter 116 Verse 15 “Precious is the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Joseph Richardson, four brothers Carl Blair, Jr., James T. Blair, Gene (Mickey) Blair, and William Denny Blair, two sisters, Sheila Smith and Donna Blair. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Willard Richardson and Ernest Howard Richardson, a granddaughter Lauren Melvin, four sisters Sue (Bob) Robinette of Cincinnati, Ohio, her twin Joyce Young of Ashland, Ky, Jerri Cassidy of Ashland, Ky, and Gloria (Dan) Blair of Ashland, Ky, and a brother Roger (Bonnie) Blair of Bethel, Ohio. Services for Julia will be conducted Friday, July 29, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel by Brother David Robinette with burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. till service time Friday. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Richardson.
