Jean Petrucci, 72, of Ashland, Ky passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born August 7, 1950 in Ashland, Ky a daughter of the late Charles R. and Opal G. Tarr Huffman. She was an LPN and a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed bowling, diamond craft painting, crafting, playing games on the iPad with her granddaughters, and she was an animal lover. She enjoyed traveling and her family. Jean and her husband, Phil, even went on a cruise every couple of years because they loved it so much. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother Jack Huffman. She is survived by her loving husband Phillip “Phil” Petrucci, a son Stephen Matthew (Sarah) Petrucci of Chapel Hill, NC, two granddaughters Grace and Katie, two brothers Charles R. (Terri) Huffman, Jr. and Gary (Connie) Huffman, and a sister Ella Kaye (Doug) Burkhart. A mass of Christian burial for Jean will be conducted Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church by V. Rev. D. Andrew Garner, KHS with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Petrucci.
