Gordon Blake Lenarz, age 14, of Catlettsburg, Ky went home to be with the Lord on June 25th, 2022. Blake was born September 26th, 2007 in Ashland. He was a member of Burnaugh Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed wilderness survival. Blake had a deep love of music but especially classic rock. Along with music Blake also loved his dog Apollo. He was a military enthusiast and he had enrolled in JROTC this fall. He dreamed of becoming a United States Marine. Blake had the biggest heart and loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his sisters and cousins who adored him. He leaves behind his mother Amber Lenarz, his sisters Tori Leshay Lenarz and Katlyn Brooke Erwin (Eddie Fowler), his loving grandparents Jeff Franklin and Gidget Cordial, his Great-Grandmother Barbara Caudill. His Uncle Brent Cordial (Kelly), and cousins Serenity, Natalie, and Boone Cordial. His Great-Aunt Pam (Tim) Howard, Great-Uncle Bobby Mcknight, as well as a host of family and friends who will miss him greatly. Services for Blake will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 12 noon at Burnaugh Baptist Church by Pastor Ameritus Pete Miller with burial to follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the church one hour before service time Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon's, as the Gideon's held a special place in Blake's heart. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Blake.
