Charlotte Daniel-Queen, 79, of Ashland, Ky passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at her home. She was a longtime member of the Nazarene Church and attended Ashland First Nazarene most recently. She was a clerical worker for Bellefonte Hospital and a Nurses Aide at Kings Daughters Medical Center after the closure. She was born September 30, 1946, in Ashland, Ky a daughter of the late Curt and Merle Sexton Davis. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by both husbands Robert N Daniel and Carlos Queen, and a brother and three sisters. She is survived by a daughter Ginger (Keith) Smith of Ashland, Ky, a granddaughter Michaela Danielle Swenson, a grandson Christopher Daniel Peters, a longtime friend Masaru Williams, and her two close friends Janice Gibson and Rettie Skeens. Services for Charlotte will be conducted Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland with burial to follow in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Daniel-Queen.
