Charles Russell Johnson, 43 of Ashland KY (formally of Ridgway) passed away August 19 holding the hand of his loving partner, Holly Self.
Charlie was born August 11,1983 in Ridgway to Philip and June (Oknefski) Johnson. He is survived by his parents, his partner in life Holly, a brother, Ross (Jessie) Johnson of Burgettstown, PA, a nephew, Jake and 2 nieces Kate and Olivia, his maternal Grandfather; George Oknefski, Aunts and uncles: Sam and Ann Olson, Darryl, Blake (Jen), Barb (Kevin), Cheryl (Chris) and Ashum (Tanya) Oknefski and Beth Greathouse. Charlie is also survived by many loving cousins and their families.
Charlie was a 2002 graduate of Ridgway Area High School.
Charlie was affectionately known as Wagon to almost everyone who knew him. He made his Homestead in KY for the past 15 years with Holly where he was proud of his gardens and produce he raised.
He was a great mechanic who could make almost anything run. He loved his dogs and could always be found with one of them close by his side.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Johnson.
